Description & Services
Description	The Simcoe County Chapter of the MS Society supports research into the cause, treatment and cure of the disease, as well as providing services that assist people with MS and their families, caregivers, and health professionals * raises funds for research and equally to help clients with MS * provides guest speakers to community groups to increase public understanding of MS in all its dimensions * have ongoing self help groups and support for diagnosed persons and their families * individual and family services include information on MS, community referral, special assistance programs, and last resort financial assistance with equipment * literature available upon request * the MS Society also works to change government policies at all levels, private industry practices and public attitudes in positive ways
