| Description | Public Health Nurses work with individuals, families and groups to plan and support healthy choices * Health Connection is the phone link to health information and services on parenting, prenatal care, health before pregnancy, child care, breastfeeding, healthy growth and development, vision, hearing and speech, self esteem, relationships, sexual health and more * this office also offers a Getting Ready for Baby series of classes for expectant parents in the last three months of pregnancy, as well as the Healthy Babies Healthy Children program * the Health Unit is an appropriate referral for questions about postnatal (postpartum) depression |
