Description & Services
Description (Service) Emergency overnight shelter for men with a capacity of 20 * 12 transitional housing rooms available for three to six months, allowing clients to settle with an address while job searching * three daily meals * group counselling with counsellor from Mental Health and Addiction Services * access to Program room computers during the day * housing support workers available by appointment to assist clients to obtain more permanent housing * Chaplain services * AA meetings on site
Hours Intake: Mon-Sun 24 hours * Admittance: Mon-Sun: in at 4:30pm * Breakfast: 7 am * Program Room: 8 am-4 pm * times may change depending on weather conditions * Group counselling: Wed evening

Application Men Requiring Shelter: 8 am-11 pm, drop-in at Intake desk to register, no appointment necessary * After 11 pm, drop-in to Intake Desk to find out if there are any beds left, if a bed is available will be directed to call the Police from the Police phone at the Barrie Bus Terminal, 24 Maple Ave * anyone looking for shelter after 11 pm must be accompanied by a Barrie Police Officer to be admitted
