DescriptionDrop in centre in the lower level (street level entrance) of Trinity Anglican Church Hall * donated foods and breakfast foods are generally available at the Centre in the early morning * Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse are available on site and a Housing Outreach Worker and Case workers dealing in addictions and youth outreach also work on staff * Housing Outreach Worker can assist individuals who are looking for affordable housing, are in rent arrears or are facing electricity and/or gas disconnects * other Outreach Workers provide assistance in accessing and referral to health and social services and helping agencies in Barrie * provide services such as assistance in obtaining ID (e.g. Health Card, Birth Certificate), help with budgeting and banking, assistance filling out forms and writing letters, assistance with hygiene * provide access to Harm Reduction and Needle Exchange Program  
 
Operates an Outreach Services Van, 7 days a week providing people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless with items such as sleeping bags, blankets, clothes, hygiene products(deodorant, soap), food and drink, harm reduction supplies, information and referral to shelters and support * location varies depending on need * call the toll free number to set up an appointment in a public place * during the winter (November-April) clients can register with Central Intake for Barrie Shelters at the Mobile Outreach Van 
 
Holds Christmas luncheon for clients of the Centre, from 11:30 am - 3 pm during the week before Christmas * For 2012 the luncheon is being held on Wednesday December 19 * for a list of donations needed for the luncheon, please call the main number 
 
Donations of the following items are always welcome at the Centre: Seasonal Clothing such as mitts, gloves, jackets, personal toiletries such as razors, deodorant, shampoo, toothbrushes/toothpaste, feminine hygiene products (tampons, pads), laundry and dish soap, bath towels, paper towels, socks, underwear, bras, toilet paper, first aid supplies, infant formula, baby food, diapers, powdered milk, ground coffee, postage stamps, work boots, jeans, tarps, tents, blankets, sleeping bags, fruit, bottled water, sandwiches, cookies 
 
Has a group of individuals, which includes men and women, available to assist with household tasks such as snow removal, lawn maintenance, gardening, yard work, errands, cleaning 
 
Open from from 9 am-2 pm Mon-Fri for Environment Canada extreme weather advisory (less than -25C with wind chill, or humidex is higher than 30C)
