DescriptionSupport and educate through general meetings, parent support groups, and public and employer awareness * an advocate for learning disabled adults, children and their families * resource library of books, pamphlets, videos and tapes available for members and non-members * offer a 9 week Assistive Trainining Technology Program (ATTP) for students from grades 3 - 8 which teaches students how to use various Assistive Technology programs installed on their school supplies laptops * a registered charitable organization

2013 Assistive Technology Summer Camp

Camp is for students in grades 2-8, programs include Dragon Naturally Speaking, Inspiration and Read and Write Gold * Beginner Camp July 2-5, Intermediate Camp July 9-12 from 9am - 12pm, Georgian College Orillia Campus * training provided by Georgian College - Adaptive Technologists

Registration for the Assistive Technology camp closes May 24 * to register call or email the office * an admission assessment will take place on June 3 to determine camp placement

Mandatory parent/guardian night being held on June 10 and 11 from 6 pm-9 pm, cost is $50 * parent/guardian participation in the camp is mandatory and is included in the cost of the camp, $150 member of LDASC, $175 non-members
