| Description | Bluegrass and Old Tyme Country music enthusiasts can come to play and sing live music in an informal jam session environment * pickers of all levels of proficiency are welcome as well as those who wish to listen * the five main acoustic instruments used in Bluegrass are 5-string banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin and upright bass * The BlueSky Country Bluegrass Club does not allow for any background syncopation such as playing spoons or drums and limit the use of amplified electric instruments to hollow body stringed instruments with pickups and to solid body bass guitars only. * volume levels of these must be consistent with those of the acoustic stringed instrument players |
