DescriptionThe Barrie Good Food Box is a community buying club open to anyone in the community who whishes to purchase a box of fresh produce once a month * purchasers can place an order for a box of fresh vegetables and fruits at one of four order locations by the second Tuesday of the month * the contents will change seasonally to reflect availability and the best value * Ontario grown produce is chosen for the box whenever possible 
 
The Barrie Good Food Box is sponsored by the Elizabeth Fry Society and community members and partners * Good Food Boxes can be purchased by anyone in the community  
 
There are four locations to pre-purchase a box by the second Tuesday of the month: 
 
1. Barrie Community Health Centre, 490 Huronia Rd, Barrie, (Eagle Ridge Professional Complex behind Huronia Urgent Care Centre), open Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm 
 
2. The Salvation Army, Bayside Mission, 16 Bayfield St, Barrie, open Mon-Fri 9 am-11:45 am and 1 pm-3:45 pm 
 
3. Barrie Housing Support Services, Bayfield Mall, 320 Bayfield St, Unit 79, Barrie, open Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm 
 
4. Elizabeth Fry Society, 105 Maple Ave Mon to Thu 8:30am-4pm, Fri 8:30am-12 Noon. 
 
Orders are picked up on the third Tuesday of the month at St Mary's Catholic Church, 65 Amelia St., from 11:30 am-5:30 pm * bags (plastic or cloth) are required to carry produce
