| Description | Offers information and guidance for people requiring Assistive Devices, new and used, including medical equipment, mobility aids, information technologies and practical aids to suit many different needs * Vehicle Modifications such as lifts and controls to allow a person with a disability to enter and/or drive * Accessible Home Renovations including items such as ramps, stair lifts, no touch door systems * Assistance in accessing a variety of funding sources that may be available to assist with each of the items listed above * Assistive Devices Exchange website to encourage the reuse of assistive devices through sales or give aways by community members who no longer require these resources WEBSITE: www.assistivedeviceexchange.ca * Falls Prevention - the proper assistive devices and home renovations can reduce the risk of a fall at home and increase independence Independent Livings Servcies of Simcoe County and Area is a member of the Staying Independent Falls Prevention Coalition (SIFPC) | |||
