DescriptionHealthy Smiles Ontario is a no cost dental program for children 17 and under who do not have access to any dental coverage and who meet the program's eligibility requirements * the program covers regular visits to a licensed dental care provider, such as a dentist or dental hygienist, to establish and maintain good oral health * it covers a rull range of dental services including check-ups, cleaning, fillings, X-rays, sealing, urgent/emergency dental services, and more * it does not cover cosmetic dentistry (such as teeth whitening), or orthodontics (such as braces) * children eligible for the Healthy Smiles Ontario program will receive care through the full service clinic in Barrie or through mobile clinics that visit local communities * Mobile Clinic comes to this location in Midland

Adults covered by publicly-funded dental programs can access full treatment services at the Healthy Smiles Dental Clinic in Barrie, or the mobile dental clinic service that visits various communities throughout the year * included are adults who receive Ontario Works (OW), Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), and Non-Insured Health Benefits for First Nations People and Inuit (NIHB)
