| Description | Main purpose is to provide a free, confidential information and referral service to the general public. Information and referral services provide the link between people and questions or problems and the services designed to meet their needs. The staff are trained specialists who also provide needed research and follow-up to ensure clients are understood and helped.
Also offers: a prenatal nutrition program to assist pregnant women with food, vitamins, and information; a toy bus for toy and book lending and play group usage for rural communities, buried treasure (a second hand clothing outlet), Kidz Kastle (preschool and before and after school programs), Direct accountability program, Family supports (food and toy drives, snowsuit and backpack programs, drop in play program) child development programs, youth programs and community support (computer and printer access, form filling assistance, meeting space etc).
