| Description | The Centre is one of over 50 Community Information Centres in Ontario, whose main purpose is to provide a free, confidential information and referral service to the general public. Information and referral is available on a wide range of community, social services, health and government programs, and special events. The staff are trained to assist persons in contacting appropriate services. Information is provided by telephone, in person, our website or by email. We also have a Volunteer Centre which matches requests from agencies requiring volunteers and volunteer applicants. People can also visit our website and do a search for volunteer opportunities. |
