DescriptionBy law, victims of crime have a right to certain information about the person who harmed them while that person is under the jurisdiction of the Parole Board of Canada (PBC) 
 
Information is not provided automatically to victims * to receive information, victims must register with either the PBC or the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) - 1-866-806-2275 
 
The PBC services include: 
 
* answers to questions about a specific adult (18 years or older) offender serving a federal sentence of two years or more  
* allow victims a voice in the Parole Board hearing process, including information related to safety concerns and/or the effect the crime has had on them and their families
