DescriptionNorth Simcoe Rail Trail Inc represents user groups of the trail and is a registered charitable organization. It develops and manages the abandoned rail line known as North Simcoe Railtrail. The trail: 
* is used for hiking, bicycling, cross country skiing, birdwatching, snowmobiling (snowmobile users require a OFSC permit), etc.  
* passes through Mayer's Marsh, a visit to Fort Willow; a historical site and conservation area near the Minesing Swamp, is just off this trail 
* Horses are allowed from May – November, stay off the stonedust screenings 
* ATV’s are not allowed on the trail.
