| Description | Wye Marsh is a year round environmental educational centre and a registered charitable organization. Facilities include: outdoor education programs * gift shop * exhibit hall * live animal shows * snack bar. Accessible to all people * has wide ramps * level trails * improved lighting and sound equipment * a wide range of adaptive equipment including a golf cart, an all-terrain chair, new stable docks, kick sleds and sitskis. 8 kms of snowshoe trails * 22 kms of cross country ski trails * full ski and snowshoe rentals. Programs include * Family Nature Programs * Live Animal demonstrations on the weekends * Day Camps for Children during Christmas Break, March Break, and summer holidays * Sweetwater Maple Syrup Festival in March * Fundraising Dinner in the fall * Art Show, Wine & Cheese in July * Canoe, Kayak and Snowshoe Ecotours * Monthly Full Moon Ski or Snowshoe outings * Monthly Falconry Workshops Guided walks with a naturalist are free with admission.
