| Description | Advocates and Rights Advisors from this office are in place to advise psychiatric patients of their rights and entitlements under the Mental Health Act; Health Care Consent Act; and Substitute Decisions Act. Advocates also intervene on the patient's behalf in an attempt to resolve disputes or dissatisfaction concerning their care and treat. |
