Description & Services
DescriptionAthena's Sexual Assault Counselling & Advocacy Centre provides free and confidential services for women 16 years of age and older, throughout Simcoe County, who have experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives. There are points of service in Alliston, Barrie, Collingwood, Midland, and Orillia. Services include: 
* a 24 hour telephone crisis line 
* individual counselling and support groups 
* court and hospital accompaniment 
* legal support, advocacy, information, and referrals 
* public education to end violence against women in our community.
