Description & Services
DescriptionAkwe:go is offered at Indian Friendship Centres across the province. The program is designed to support and meet the needs of Urban Aboriginal at risk children between ages 7 to 12. 
The program consist of the following five component areas:  
*Children In Care 
*Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorders (FASD)and All Disabilities 
*Institutional Interventions 
*Health and Physical Development 
*Social Supports 
Also offers after-school programs; Health resources; Teachings by elders; Culturally relevant supports; Referrals to community resources and agencies; Public awareness and community outreach. After school programs are open to the greater community.
HoursOffice Mon-Thu 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Fri 8:30 am-4 pm
