DescriptionCommunity Reach offers two transportation programs: 
 
Transportation Linking Communities (TLC) provides non-emergency rides to residents of North Simcoe who have no other means of transportation. Volunteer drivers donate their time and vehicle to help and to provide an opportunity for those in need to access community services. Rides requests must be booked three days in advance. 
 
Ride Purposes:  
North Simcoe - medical, legal, counselling, volunteering, recreation, social, basic needs  
Simcoe County - medical and legal  
Newmarket/Toronto/Muskoka- medical specialists  
 
 
Accessible Transit Service is offered to residents of Midland who due to physical limitations cannot access the regular transit system. This program operates within the boundaries of Midland & Penetanguishene. This is a non emergency service. 
 
Community Reach also offers a transportation ride companion program. Trained volunteer companions are available for our registered riders on both programs to assist in attending medical appointments and accessing basic needs. Requests must be submitted three business days before the ride date.

EligibilityAges: 14 year(s) and up 
 
Volunteer-led Transportation - Eligibility is determined following intake and application. Designed for low-income people of all ages and seniors on a fixed income or with limited support. Please note:(riders under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)  
 
Wheelchair Accessible Transit passengers must complete an application and have a signed Medical Assessment Form (completed by Health Care Professional).

Accessible Transit-$2.50/ride, no fee for an attendant confirmed by the Health Care Professional; no fee for the trained Volunteer Companion.
