| Description | Midland Power and Sail Squadron teaches the fundamentals of good boating, with an emphasis on safety and seamanship, to pleasure craft boaters. Courses cover:
*Boating Essentials—Introduction to Chart reading, use of compass and course plotting, GPS (prerequisite is PCOC)
* Boating Basics (PCOC)—Transport Canada — online
* Navigating with GPS and Electronic Charting—Seminar series
* Maritime Radio Course (VHF)/DSC —Industry Canada
* RADAR for Pleasurecraft and many more. |
