Description	The purpose of the Mariposa Writers Group is to celebrate and promote writing in our community, to learn and grow as writers and to share our knowledge, ideas and works with others. Writers are able to share their own writing such as poetry, fiction or non-fiction works with the group. The group also hosts the Lake Country Literary Lapses at the Leacock Museum in August.

Fees	Donation - In lieu of fees, members are asked to make amonthly donation of a toonie at each meeting they attend in support of the groups' activities.
