Gardening Volunteer	Penetanguishene, Town of. Parks, Recreation & Culture		Come out and get your hands dirty in a community beautification project!  The Town of Penetanguishene invites you to join in community gardening to help plant flowers in planters for the Main Street!
gardeneré/ record keeper	Éco-Huronie & Le Jardin du village		assist in the weeding and harvesting of vegetables in a 2 acre certified organic garden
Tree Planting Volunteer	Severn Sound Environmental Association		In early Spring volunteers are needed to help plant tree seedlings in the Severn Sound watershed.
Maintenance Assistant	Penetanguishene Centennial Museum and Archives		Outside maintenance such as snow shoveling, lawn cutting, gardening, painting etc. Indoor maintenance would require cleaning inside the museum at the blacksmith shop, fire hall and concession stand.
Horticultural Member	Elmvale and District Horticultural Society		Volunteer members:  * assist with planting at annual flower shows and flower gardens   * maintenance of gardens in various locations  * attending meet  * assist with fundraising duties to aid in beautification of the community  * act as youth horticulture group leaders.
Ecology Garden Volunteer	Ecology Garden, Penetanguishene		Assist in maintenance of garden where produce is grown to be donated to local charity organizations and other food access programs. Activities include planting, weeding, watering, turning compost, heavy lifting, etc.
General Volunteer	Calvary Baptist Church. Midland		Assist in connecting with local service agencies, transportation, Sunday school and youth activities and bible study. Help is also needed with maintaining our building and grounds and general office administration. Individuals wishing to apply their strength in service of the community are encouraged to suggest activities to us.
Plant Sale Volunteer	Penetanguishene Horticultural Society		Holds annual plant sale on the Saturday of the May long weekend. Assistance needed the night before to help set up for the sale.
