Polar Bear Dip Volunteer	Tiny Township Lions Club		Volunteers are needed to help with setup, registration, and serving coffee and soup. The event takes place at Balm Beach at noon. Anyone aged 13 and older can sign up.
Organizing Committee Member	Library Garden Tour, North Simcoe		Committee members perform a variety of tasks necessary to the organizing and delivery of the annual Library Garden Tour. Tasks include promotion, administration, fundraising, liaison with participating libraries and individuals whose gardens will be included in the tour.

Volunteer	Canadian Authors Association		Duties will range depending on what events are taking place within the Canadian Authors Association. Volunteer Constituent Assistant	Canada. Members of Parliament, Simcoe North Federal Riding. Orillia Office, Bruce Stanton MP		Assist staff with basic office admin work such as reviewing applications for constituents, data input, front desk welcoming etc. Training is provided and staff are always at your side to assist you.
F.A.C.E. Facilitators; Board Members	Huronia Restorative Justice Project		Trained volunteers facilitate community justice circles between victims and their offenders. The facilitator, along with a co-facilitator, will receive a case referral with all pertinent information. Cases may be referred from youth criminal court or adult criminal court, by the police. Cases may also be referred by a school. A FACE facilitator will then set up an interview time with the victim to discuss the procedures, answer any questions, and find out who they will be bringing for support. The same is done with the offender. A date is set and then the circle is prepared. Everyone attending the circle gives their input into designing an agreement for the offender to follow. A member of the circle offers to track the agreement and its completion. In many cases, if the agreement is fulfilled, the court may decide that criminal charges will be dropped. Victims have a chance to share their feelings and impact of the incident, which is often not possible in court. Offenders hear the impact their choices made firsthand. All parties end up with a better understanding of the incident, and of each other.    Other volunteer activities include staffing the office and attending meetings.

Barrie Out of the Cold Volunteer	Barrie Out of the Cold		Each evening a team of volunteers provide a hot dinner, a sleeping mat, a light breakfast and a warm welcome to anyone in need. Branch Council Member	Canadian Cancer Society.		The Canadian Cancer Society is looking for Branch Council members to help support the mission of the Cancer Society within the Orillia community.
Dispatcher of Hot Meals on Wheels Program	Canadian Red Cross, Simcoe Muskoka Branch, Volunteer Services		The responsibilities of the dispatcher include: to arrive at distribution point at 3 pm, take inventory of prepared meals, organize meals into pre-assigned routes, greet delivery driver volunteers, dispatch meal routes, and report any instances to the Service Coordinator.
Fundraising, Event and Administrative Volunteers	Canadian Cancer Society. Simcoe-Muskoka Unit. Midland/Penetenguishene Branch		Help the Canadian Cancer Society raise funds by organizing and staffing events, assisting with administration or other needed tasks.
General Volunteer	Calvary Baptist Church. Midland		Assist in connecting with local service agencies, transportation, Sunday school and youth activities, bible study and assisting with efforts to ensure the community is aware of helpful services available through our church programs. Help is also needed with maintaining our building and grounds and general office administration. Loop Trail Coordinator	Huronia Trails and Greenways		Liaises with the Loop Trail Stewards, landowners, trail committee, etc. Keeps up to date record of loop trail owners and stewards. Provides loop trail stewards with the necessary supplies and keeps them up to date on on loop trail marker guidelines and acts as a resource to loop trail stewards in terms of issues, concerns, etc.
Multiple Sclerosis Society Volunteer	Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Simcoe County Chapter		Assist with office administration, help motivate financial support in the battle against MS through fundraising. Board member positions are also available.

Volunteer Drivers	Canadian Cancer Society.		Looking for volunteers with a reliable vehicle that could take cancer patients to and from their appointments. We ask that you drive 1-2x a week and we reimburse for gas. You can chose between local or long distance runs.
