Birthday Party or Special Event Assistant	Hillcrest Village Care Centre		This commitment is once or twice per month - you'll help with portering residents, serving refreshments, socializing. This position is ideal for someone who is already making a regular commitment to volunteering so you already are getting to know our residents.
Care & Support Volunteer	Hillcrest Village Care Centre		To provide friendly visits and support to residents and/or family members at end of life. This is a unique and specialized position where your compassion and experience with palliative or hospice care will assist in making a person's last days as comfortable and happy as possible.
Games & Cards Volunteer	Hillcrest Village Care Centre		Some of our residents enjoy a game of cards after dinner. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the company of others with a weekly card game.
Morning Greeter & Breakfast Assistant	Hillcrest Village Care Centre		Are you a morning person? If so, this new early morning position could be just for you. Be a breakfast greeter – socialize with the early birds, serve the early coffee, assist others to the dining room. Your effort will help set a positive tone to the day!
Resident Bingo Volunteer	Hillcrest Village Care Centre		Assisting with weekly Bingo activity, includes assisting with transporting residents, serving refreshments and helping residents enjoy the game.
Spritual and Religious Care Volunteer	Hillcrest Village Care Centre		Volunteers assist with escorting residents to and from weekly chapel services, rosary and monthly hymn sing. Other specialized positions may be available.
Workshop Assistant	Hillcrest Village Care Centre		You have skills in small project woodworking and you might be able to help out by doing some prep work at home and bringing the project to our workshop for completion. You enjoy working with others and love sharing your skills. This position is made for you!
Friendly Visiting	Hillcrest Village Care Centre		Be a friend to a resident(s) who may not have visitors on a regular basis. Your weekly visit will be appreciated and enjoyed by both you and the resident. Friendly Visiting would include: reading, playing games, going for walks etc.
Feeding Assistant	Hillcrest Village Care Centre		All three meals are important to the health and well-being of our residents. Extra support is needed for those who need assistance.
