| Description | The Administration, Training and Volunteer Centre offers a variety of first aid and health related courses * WSIB approved courses are offered in CPR, Standard First Aid, Emergency First Aid, Automated External Defibrillation (AED), First Aid for Pets and People, Family Health Care, Babysitting and Home Alone* courses are advertised when available * offer custom courses in CPR (minimum 6 people) and First Aid (minimum 10 people) for businesses and individuals * First aid courses are offered to seniors through seniors groups and institutions * offers WHMIS and Health and Safety Training for businesses * the Mobile First Aid Post, a volunteer community service group, provides services at public functions upon request * Child car seat inspection clinics available with appointment * First Aid kits for the workplace, home, automobile, boat, sports club and supplies are available for purchase * offers Cadet Program (see separate record) * offers Dog Therapy Program where dogs and their trainers visit hospitals and nursing homes * a nonprofit registered charitable organization |
